| Well... its finally done. Eric Givans was sentenced to 11 years for murdering Richie. Is it fair? Who knows? I assume it is just- or our Lord wouldn't allow it... Please pray for Eric & a conversion of his soul. It was evident what Richie was up against, when Eric's mother wouldn't recognize God when swearing in under oath... Nothing will bring Richie back, but maybe our prayers will help bring this troubled man back. I know its what Richie would have wanted!
THANK YOU EVERYONE for the strong support you have shown us over these past "2 years, 1 month, & 10 days," according to Uncle Buck. We couldn't have made it without your love & encouragement! You are all so special & the testimony that was given to personify Richie was AWESOME to say the least! :o We love you ALL & are always here for you in any & every way you may need. =)
We LOVE you all!

| Hi Again!
Its odd writing on this again. I guess I have more to say lately...
Actually, what I have to say is pretty important My parents asked me to post this, so here goes...
PLEASE PASS THIS INFORMATION ON TO ANYONE & EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On Friday, February 3rd @ 8:30 AM they are sentencing Eric Givans for Richie's murder. It will take place at the Jackson County Courthouse on the 8th Floor, in the Division 10 courtroom. This is the time where the judge will listen to those who knew Richie explain what he meant to us all & what emptiness & loss there is without him. Not to mention, the loss that society has felt in his absence. Anyone that wishes to attend is welcome & actually the more that attend, the better it will be. The judge needs to at least see a glimpse of what Richie's contribution was to society & what it would have continued to be if his life was not taken at the hand of another. (Too bad the judge wasn't at Richie's funeral...) Anyway, PLEASE come to this if you come to anything. I can't tell you what it would mean to my parents (& me... I'd do anything to see them gain some sense of peace). This is going to be pretty tough for them, but it always helps when people close to Richie come around.
I'll be checking my xanga pretty often now in case anyone has questions. Leave me your e-mail addresses if possible (it's much easier for me to answer you that way...)
That's all for now! Study hard all you little students & stay focused on your goals! God Bless You All!!!!! >Rebecca

| Hi Everyone! =)
Hope you are all doing well. Sorry I haven't updated this in a while, but I've been REALLY busy studying! :-s
I've had people ask about what plans are for the 6th of Feb., so here it goes...
I've offered an 8:30 AM mass for Richie @ Holy Cross Church in KC, MO. The church is on the corner of St. John & Quincy. The exact address is: 5106 St. John Ave. KC, MO 64123. Here's a mapquest link http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searchtype=address&country=US&addtohistory=&searchtab=home&formtype=address&popflag=0&latitude=&longitude=&name=&phone=&cat=&address=5106+Saint+John+Avenue&city=&state=mo&zipcode=64123
It is the church we grew up in, so it has some sentimental meaning. I guess you could say I thought it would be nice to bring it all "back to the roots"...
Anyway, normally they have daily mass in the rectory, but they said if there were going to be more than 15 people they would open the church. I told the nice lady that I thought there might be more, but I am going to let her know for sure by Monday the 30th. If anyone plans on coming & has a chance to let me know, it would be great. Otherwise, I'll just see you there.
God Bless!
